Q: What are my payment options?

A: We understand that dental care can prohibitively expensive. That’s why Dr. Leila emphasizes prevention, through regular cleanings, check-ups, and x-rays, as the best way to avoid costly dental work. However, when major dental work is necessary, we are happy to accept both dental insurance and payment plans.

We work with a wide variety of dental insurance plans to help finance your dental work. Currently we accept all traditional insurance plans and are considered “in-network” for many PPO plans. If you are unsure whether we accept your dental insurance, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Payment plans are available on a case-by-case basis.

Q: Will my dental insurance pay for my visit?

A: Our front office staff is happy to file your insurance claims for you as well as assist you with questions regarding your insurance. However we strongly encourage all insured parties to familiarize themselves with the details of their insurance coverage, as the responsibility for payment ultimately resides with the patient.

Unlike medical insurance, which often covers 100% of procedures, dental insurance will generally pay for a portion of your dental care. The exact amount is determined by your particular plan, but most insurance companies will pay for 100% of cleanings & check-ups; 80% of fillings; and 50% of crowns, dentures, & bridges.

Please note that cosmetic procedures such as tooth whitening, are no covered by your insurance.

Q: What is your missed appointment policy?

A: If patients are unable to keep appointments, they must notify the office at least 48 hours before appointment time. If the patient fails to show for their appointment, there will be a fee of $50.00 for no show appointments.
